Phishing

 What is phishing?

Phishing refers to emails or messages that attempt to deceive you by posing as legitimate companies such as telpark in order to steal data, money, or access accounts. They often include fake links, fraudulent attachments, or messages that seek to scare you into acting quickly.

What signs indicate that a message may be fraudulent?

  • Unknown sender address or suspicious variations.
  • Links that do not lead to the official domain.
  • Spelling or formatting errors.
  • Tones that sound urgent or threatening.
  • Requests for payments outside the app or website.

I have received an email or text message and I don't know if it is from Telpark.

We recommend that you never click on links in emails or text messages that you were not expecting. Do not download attachments or reply to the message, or provide any personal information.

I clicked on the link and entered my details: what should I do?

If you have entered your details, contact your bank immediately and explain the situation to them. They will help you minimise the impact.

Will Telpark ever ask me for my password, bank details, or PIN by email or text message?

Telpark will never ask you for sensitive data through these channels. If you have any questions, please consult us first.

What if I have a pending payment with Telpark?

If you have an outstanding payment with us, we will always advise you to use the app.
